Status check of a ND licensure application:

Upon log-in, this information may be viewed by the applicant, Human Resources and/or Employment Management.

Status will reflect dates of when the application was submitted, and if required documents are missing, and/or pending, resulting in an incomplete application. The applicant may upload pending documents to the portal after logging in.

Do NOT send the background check forms/prints and payment to ND BCI directly; they MUST be sent to the Board office for processing. ND BCI will reject all forms/prints and payment if sent directly to them; everything will be returned back to you, causing additional delays in the licensure process.

The information is updated frequently upon receipt of an application and newly submitted documents in the Application Status portal. If you can not access your Application Status portal any longer, please check to see if the license has already been issued. 

A license issued may be verified by the License Verification Tool, located on the main page.
